Terms of Service
Version date: September 23, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Variantea, a business-to-business software service operated under the Variantea trade name.
Variantea Early Access is currently invite-only and is provided for business product evaluation. Authentication uses email magic links. Public signup is closed.
By accessing or using Variantea, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization for which you use the service. If you use Variantea for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms and use the service for that organization.
1. The service
Variantea helps marketers adapt a campaign’s expression across audiences while preserving campaign intent. The service may include campaign, audience, content, output, language, review, handoff, AI-assisted generation, analysis, and related workflow features.
You own the campaign strategy. Variantea may assist with audience-specific personalization approaches, while marketers remain responsible for context, review, approval, and the final use of content.
Early Access features may change, be limited, or be discontinued as the product evolves.
2. Early Access and account eligibility
Early Access is intended for business use and is available only to users approved by the Variantea operator.
You must:
- use the service only for lawful business purposes;
- provide an email address you are authorized to use;
- keep access to your email account and authentication links secure;
- not share authentication links or authenticated sessions with unauthorized persons; and
- use only workspaces and data that you are authorized to access.
Variantea may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, address misuse, comply with law, or end an Early Access relationship.
3. Customer content and instructions
You and your organization are responsible for the information, content, instructions, audience descriptions, data signals, brand or product context, and other material you submit to Variantea.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that material and to instruct Variantea to process it.
As between you and Variantea, you retain your rights in material you submit. You grant Variantea a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, modify, and otherwise use that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and provide the service and requested functionality.
Do not submit information that you are not authorized to use, or information that is unnecessary for your use of the service.
4. AI-assisted features and outputs
Variantea uses OpenAI for AI-assisted generation and analysis features. Relevant campaign, audience, brand, product, instruction, and content context may be transmitted for processing when those features are used.
AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate for a particular audience, similar to material generated for others, or unsuitable for a specific legal, regulatory, brand, or business requirement.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving outputs before use. Variantea does not provide legal, regulatory, financial, or other professional advice, and AI output should not be treated as a substitute for qualified professional review.
To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to third-party rights, Variantea does not claim ownership merely because an output was generated for your workspace. No representation is made that an AI-generated output is protectable by intellectual-property law or free from third-party claims.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Variantea to:
- violate law or another person’s rights;
- access data, accounts, or workspaces without authorization;
- submit malware or interfere with the service;
- probe, attack, bypass, or defeat security or usage controls;
- attempt to obtain another user’s authentication credentials or session;
- use the service to generate or distribute unlawful content;
- misrepresent AI-assisted content as reviewed or approved when your organization requires review and approval; or
- use the service in a way that materially harms the service or other users.
6. Usage and Early Access limits
Variantea may apply workspace, campaign, member, or generation limits during Early Access to protect reliability, safety, and cost. These limits are operational safeguards and are not pricing commitments.
Variantea may adjust Early Access limits as the service evolves.
7. Third-party services
Variantea relies on third-party providers, including Supabase, OpenAI, Vercel, and Resend, to provide parts of the service. Availability or performance of those third-party services may affect Variantea.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Feedback
If you provide product feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Variantea, you allow Variantea to use that feedback to evaluate and improve the service without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of your campaign content or other customer material.
9. Confidential information
Variantea does not promise a separate contractual confidentiality regime through these public Terms alone. You should not use Early Access to submit information that requires contractual confidentiality protections unless appropriate separate terms have been agreed.
This does not limit obligations that apply under law or a separate written agreement.
10. Privacy and data requests
Variantea’s handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy at:
Early Access does not currently provide self-service data export, self-service account deletion, or self-service workspace deletion.
Access, correction, export, account-closure, and deletion requests are handled through an operator-assisted process. Contact:
Account closure does not necessarily cause immediate deletion of all associated data. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Service changes, suspension, and termination
Because Variantea is in Early Access, features, workflows, limits, and availability may change.
You may stop using the service at any time. Account or workspace closure is currently operator-assisted.
Variantea may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the service, respond to misuse, comply with law, or end Early Access. Where practical, Variantea may provide notice, but immediate action may be taken when reasonably necessary.
12. No service-level commitment
Unless Variantea agrees otherwise in a separate written agreement, Early Access does not include a service-level agreement, uptime commitment, support-response guarantee, or commitment to maintain any particular feature.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Early Access is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Variantea does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI-assisted outputs will be accurate or suitable for every purpose, or that the service will meet every legal, regulatory, compliance, or business requirement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Variantea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from or related to Early Access.
Because Early Access is currently provided for product evaluation and no separate commercial liability allocation has been agreed in these public Terms, any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This section does not limit liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
15. Changes to these Terms
Variantea may update these Terms as Early Access evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the published version and version date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
16. Entire agreement and separate written terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the public terms for invite-only Early Access unless a separate written agreement applies.
If a separate written agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the separate written agreement controls to the extent of that conflict.
